Rolex 18K Yellow Gold King Midas with Tiger's Eye Dial

Gerald Genta, one of the most famous watch designers in history, is the genius behind the Rolex King Midas, inspired by Greek mythology. It was the most expensive Rolex created at the time. The watch incorporates Genta’s signature (and first) integrated bracelet. The Midas is iconic, and not just for the name. It has been worn by the likes of Elvis and John Wayne. The watch was carved out of a solid piece of gold. This particular model in the Midas line (reference 3584) from 1974 features a tiger’s eye stone dial with gold hands and applied gold Rolex coronet logo. The case is solid 18K yellow gold and features a manual hand winding movement. Includes a letter of authenticity and one-year limited warranty on the movement of the watch from Veralet.
