Omega Stainless Steel Straight Writing Speedmaster with Chocolate Brown Dial

Known for its iconic design and style, the Omega Speedmaster is a modern classic. Truly one of a kind, this Omega Speedmaster features a beautiful chocolate dial that has aged over time to an incredible brown color. Measuring 40mm in size, this watch from 1969/1970 includes a classic 861 manual wind movement. What makes this watch so special is that it is celebrated by collectors as it was made for a one-year period and is distinguished by the straight writing on the case back. This is the first series of watches worn on the moon as the previous reference is what is known as a pre-moon watch. The period correct don ( dot over 90) bezel is in fantastic shape. The watch comes fitted on its original stainless steel 1039 bracelet and is dated 1971. Please note that the watches and bracelet were not always made at the exact time, and a case and movement manufactured in one year and a bracelet in a different year, although not a year apart was common. Includes a letter of authenticity and one-year limited warranty on the movement of the watch from Veralet.
