Chic. Sleek. Elegent.
Rolex 18K White Gold Ladies Oyster Perpetual Datejust with White Buckley Dial
The story goes like this. Fourteen years ago, John Buckley, a vintage Rolex dealer, took to the watch forums. At a time when collectors were most focused on Daytona Patrizzi and Paul Newman Daytona dials, John was interested in the less popular and less common Rolex dials with painted roman numeral markers. In an attempt at humor and self-promotion, John declared these dials were henceforth to be known as “Buckley” dials. It stuck. Over time, Buckley dials have become more popular as collectors started seeking out the exotic Buckley dials in a variety of colors. Today, outside of Rolex sport models, the Buckley dial is the only dial that is recognized with a moniker across the internet, in literature, and in auction catalogues.
The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust is a timeless classic. This unusual and rarely seen white gold watch (reference 6917) features a classic white Buckley dial, automatic movement, acrylic crystal, and yellow gold screw down crown. It comes fitted on its original 18K white gold president bracelet. What is interesting here is that this watch was retailed in South America, this is known based on the distinctive clasp and decorated center links found on gold watches retailed in this region. A watch for the true connoisseur and fashionable wearer. Includes a letter of authenticity and one-year limited warranty on the movement of the watch from Veralet.
Live the dream.
